RING SIZE CHART & JEWELRY CARE
Facts about Hiba Jaber jewelry:
We use both 800-silver and 18k gold metal for our jewelry creations.
Jewelry made from 800-silver receives either 18k gold plating for a rose or yellow finish, and rhodium plating for a white finish. This is also known as vermeil.
The plating on the surface can fade with time, due to contact with water, surfaces, perfume, clothes and other environmental factors.
We use 18k gold, which is stamped with a 750 hallmark. The gold may have been plated to achieve another color of gold, rose gold or white gold. This color may wear away with time.
Wearing your jewelry every day may speed up the process of fading, particularly on items worn on the hands like rings, due to more frequent contact with surfaces and substances.
We are happy to provide you with a polish or an additional plating anytime the color fades away, at no additional cost. Get in touch with our team and we will be happy to assist.
We use diamonds, precious stones as well as semi-precious gemstones in our designs. They are set with meticulous attention to detail, taking into account ethical considerations when sourced.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY:
Each piece of jewelry comes packaged in a Hiba Jaber Jewelry box, as well as a velvet pouch. When not wearing your jewelry, protect it by keeping it stored in its original packaging.
Avoid keeping your jewelry in areas with high moisture levels such as the bathroom or near windows. Exposing silver to moisture makes it tarnish easily.
If the gold or rhodium plating starts to wear off, get in touch with us for a new polish or plating and we will return it to you as good as new!
Keep in mind that a jewelry box is a good place to keep your jewelry, although it does not protect the silver pieces from tarnish and oxidization.
Avoid subjecting your jewelry to direct contact with water and chemical products. It is advisable not to wear your jewelry to the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna/steam room or while bathing or showering.
Remove jewelry when doing household tasks - harsh substances such as bleach can permanently damage jewelry items.
Wipe your jewelry with a clean, soft cloth to remove any oils and dirt from it.
